Volunteer Awards
Tarleton Rugby Union Football Club is no different than a lot of other successful clubs that rely on the time and effort given up by volunteers to make things happen. Without these people Tarleton RUFC would simply not exist or keep operating.
Throughout the club people volunteer to do all sorts of things and in the most have an enjoyable time doing so, putting time into a good cause can be very rewarding. Whether seeking planning permission, preparing the pitches, cleaning the changing rooms, coaching, making bacon butties etc everyone comes together to make Tarleton RUFC what it is.
The hard work of all the volunteers is appreciated and as a way of showing thanks the club has followed the RFU lead and introduced annual "Unsung Hero" and Coach awards. The Club is also pleased that some volunteers have been recognised by the Lancashire District RFU. The people who have won the awards to date have not sought any recognition for what they do and realise that there are lots of other very deserving people.
If you want to get involved more in the club please speak with any of the coaches, managers or committee members - there is a place for you to be part of this fantastic club.
